Remember the Victims of Enforced Disappearances

On the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearance, we will remember the people who have been forcibly disappeared and arbitrarily arrested by the UAE government. Every year, the UAE authorities forcibly disappears anybody who expresses any opinions that counter those of the state, as well as family members, or citizens who advocate for human rights.

What you can do:

During the week leading to August 30th:

- Change your profile picture on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Whatsapp to one of the free pictures below to show your solidarity with the victims of enforced disappearance.

- Post or share the image above on social media to raise awareness of the practice of enforced disappearance in the UAE.
