Stand with Nasser Bin Ghaith

Friday 18th August is the anniversary of Nasser Bin Ghaith’s arrest. Human rights defender Bin Ghaith was sentenced to ten years in prison for the peaceful expression of his conscientiously held beliefs. On 17th April 2017, he announced his hunger strike in an open letter sent from his prison cell in Abu Dhabi to demand his unconditional release.

On Thursday 17th August, ICFUAE will take action in London to raise awareness of the arbitrary detention of prisoners of conscience in the UAE and in solidarity with all hunger strikers.
