ICFUAE – CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES

The International Campaign for Freedom in the UAE officially launched on Friday 17th April 2015

ICFUAE seeks to support and promote political activism and democratic reform in the United Arab Emirates. As opposition activists, human rights campaigners and political reformers continue their campaign for democratic reform in the UAE the ICFUAE works to support and promote this.

As the Arab Spring brought change to the Middle East, activists and campaigners called for reform in the UAE. Yet these calls have left them facing abuses of their human rights and freedoms. The ICFUAE campaigns for respect for human rights, the release of all political prisoners, an end to torture of those detainees, support for an independent judiciary and support for progress towards a representative elected parliament and overall democratic reform.
