Kuwaiti man arrested in Dubai for putting Qatari Emir’s photo on his iPhone

The Emirati security forces arrested a Kuwaiti man while roaming in the Dubai World Village along with his family for unknown reasons, rights sources said.

The lawyer Mohamed Rayhan al-Ajmi reported that the Kuwaiti man was immediately detained after discovering that a photo of Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on his iPhone.

On June 2017, the United Arab Emirates along with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Egypt decided to impose sever diplomatic ties on Qatar for allegedly supporting Muslim Brotherhood.
