Nasser bin Ghaith continues hunger strike, denied family visits

Prominent academic and economist Dr. Nasser bin Ghaith continued his open-ended hunger strike for the second consecutive month in protest against his poor detention conditions.

On 25 February 2018, Bin Ghaith lunched hunger strike for a second time against his ill-treatment at Al-Razeen prison.

Since then, he was held in solitary confinement and denied family visits.

On the first anniversary of his prison-sentence, ICFUAE declared its complete solidarity with bin Ghaith, as well as other prisoners of conscience in the UAE.
