Norwegian judiciary will put an end to "the international network of rights," funded by the United Arab Emirates

Global Network For Rights And Development: GNRD, a leading human rights organization funded by the United Arab Emirates, annouced last month its bankruptcy. This news came after a court judgment issued by the Norwegian judiciary as the organization failed to pay the salaries of its workers for consecutive six months.

The Norwegian Control Committee for fundraising warned last October against donating money to GNRD. saying  that they completely failed to get a response to repeated requests they sent to this network as to get some basic information about finances and organization.

Ever since Septembre 2014,The network has raised suspicion following the publication of the  of human rights index where the class of the United Arab Emirates ranked 14 and Qatar ranked 97, which sparked some criticism that urged the group to delete this indicator from its website.

On the other hand Expert on Middle Eastern affairs and British writer, James Dorsey, stated that the network is some sort of a new global campaign for the UAE to launch a new definition of "tyranny" one that automatically considers "political Islam" a source of violence that needs to be prohibited. the compaign also aims at achieving universal acceptance of the despotic terrorism definition UAE is trying to market.

Dorsey also said in one of his reports that the UAE is trying through these human rights networks to expand and extend its regional influence via the (soft) power, and achieve universal acceptance.

Well, based on this so-called definition , UAE and its rulers aren't a dictatorship. only people who use political islam are.
