UAE court to issue final verdict upon Bin Ghaith's case on March 29

Abu Dhabi Court of Appeal will issue its final verdict regarding the prominent Emirati academic and human rights defender Nasser Bin Ghaith's case on March 29, the Emirati award-winning activist Ahmed Mansour revealed.

Nasser Bin Ghaith was arrested in August 2015 for his peaceful criticism on Twitter of Egyptian authorities.

He was brought to court more than once since his arbitrary arrest, the most recent hearing was before the Federal Appeal Court in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 22nd of February 2017.
