Is the UAE State Security Service infringing the privacy of its citizens?

A scientific investigation carried out by two researchers in the "Citizen Lab" of Monk Global Affairs University in Toronto, Canada has lately revealed how the UAE State Security Service is infringing the privacy of its citizens and spying on them which has helped them arrest dozens of civilans and put them in detention.

According to Markzak Bill, a "Citizen Lab" senior fellow, and his colleague John Scott Railton, the investigation reveals that several espionage attacks have been made by the Emirati security service against activists and journalists in the UAE since 2012.

The researchers explained that they have found evidence which confirms the link of the "stealth Falcon" to the UAE Government.

The Security Froces often secretly abduct and imprison their targets. This practise is also known as enforced disappearance which is a strategy widely used by UAE to spread terror and fear among dissidents, reformers and human rights activists in the country, using spyware as a way to reach them.

Rory Donaghy, news editor in "Middle East Aye" said that the UAE has been using a secret surveillance program, a fact that reveals the true face of the police state.

Rory also refered to a report published by the "New York Times" last month, and said that he was one among a thousand people whom the UAE tried to place under control, through the use of an advanced spy system, bought from European technology companies.
