U.S. black protests fear UAE authorities

President Barack Obama said earlier on Friday morning that the police shooting deaths of two black men in Louisiana and Minnesota should trouble all Americans and reflect deep-seated racial disparities in the U.S. criminal justice system.

This doesn't seem to be any of UAE concerns , as the UAE embassy in the U.S. clearly urged all Emiratis including residents and those who have American nationalities to avoid gatherings and demonstrations that broke out in some states in respond to the Black Lives Matter’s campaign in the wake of the killing of two black Americans by white policemen.

The UAE Embassy, obviously displaying its utter phobia from any kind of protest, also provided through its tweeter account a hot line number for its fellow Emirati citizens to call in case of an emergency.

This very expected appeal comes after a long history of UAE escalated restrictions against peaceful activists calling for reform in the country.
