The practice of indefinite detention in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates repeatedly holds political prisoners in detention beyond the end of their official sentences, this is called “indefinite detention”. 

Those indefinitely detained remain arrested without due process, which violates international law - namely the right to liberty and the right to a fair trial.
