Emirati prisoners of conscience suffer harsh detention condition in Razin prison

Rights groups have voiced deep concern over the health and lives of prisoners of conscience held in al-Razin prison due to the very cold weather.

According to the sources, the prisoners of conscience are deprived from winter clothing and blankets or any source of heating as a tool of torture.

The prisoners are not even allowed to receive such items from their families

The prison’s windows are closed with a piece of plastic which allows cold wind to leak. This is combined with a shortage in food and basic human needs.
