UAE seeking foreign employees while unemployment rate among Emiratis has slightly increased

Jordanian Ministry of Labor said that jobs in the public and private sectors in the UAE are available for their citizens. This comes with no surprise as the unemployment rate keeps increasing among UAE nationals especially that some citizens are quitting their jobs and other are being fired while dozens of experts in their fields are being arrested.

According to the announcement by the ministry, some of the jobs on offer are within the legal expertise field which sounds a bit ironical as the Emirati State Security Service arrested their own senior legal experts and constitutionalists including Dr. Mohammed Al-Roken and Dr. Mohamed al-Mansoori.

A report about the labor force issued on August 2016 has showed that unemployment rate among Emiratis had a ratio of 2.8% last year compared to 2.6% on 2014 which means a rise of 0.2%.

The UAE Ministry of Education has witnessed hundreds of resignations among teachers from various school districts in protest against the "failing policies" implemented by the state that also proved to be depriving them of their rights.

But instead of finding solutions to the real causes of the problems, the authorities tend to compensate the resignations by recruiting teachers from outside the country.

Observers have said that the Emirati education sector has been suffering from ignorance, neglect and marginalization.
