VIDEO: Free Abdulrahman Bin Sobeih
Abdulrahman Bin Sobeih was sentenced on Monday 14th November 2016 to 10 years of imprisonment and three years of administrative control following his detention on the alleged charges of belonging to a "secret organisation".
The man was first tried in absentia in 2013 with other 94 human rights activists and later kidnapped while applyin for asylum in Indonesia.
Bin Sobeih has been held by the UAE authorities since his deportation from Indonesia on 18th December 2015. He was then deported back to Abu Dhabi where he was forcibly disappeared for months, held in a secret location without access to a lawyer nor contact with the outside world.
